Not quite a Christmas single, I know. I got really sick from Pneumonia and at times it felt like I was dying. That and I was also transitioning between computers at this point in time too. Those factors, combined with increased anxiety about uploading after four months of not doing so and feeling like this song was rushed and subpar for quality.
the title for this song is of course a callback to the first track in Complete Dystopia. The reference being made, of course, due to the fact that the elf democracy has become an elf dictatorship. I'm good at dystopian world-building because when you're poisoned with irony a dystopia can be as simple as just minorly inconviencing people in very stupid and impractical ways.
In general I feel like this track was just made for filler between now and the release of Apocalypse Weekend, for one to retain and regain a sliver of momentum for the actually good release, and two just to show people I'm not dead, give the fans a bone to chew on, y'know?
Anyways Apocalypse Weekend's gonna be great, it's just the culmination of everything I've ever done and then some. It's reminiscent of Sadistic Memory in format and progressive style. Trust me, it's gonna be good.
