This song is... not mine, if it wasn't obvious. It's a cover of what is quite possibly one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite musicians, Gezebelle Gaburgably.
I feel like it is important for me to make a point about the music that I like and influences me if I am to make a website like this; otherswise, what is the point of hearing me yap?
Gezebelle Gaburgably seems to stand for pretty much all the artistic principles I believe in: Experimentation, Improvement, and just making songs you enjoy. All the while with just a hint of silly.
This song I love so much with all my heart beacuse of so many things. From the quick paced verses filled with energy, the incredibly catchy chorus that retains said energy, all the way to the release of said energy into the slow, soothing post-chorus until suddenly, dissonance!
Now of course, what did I do to this wonderful song? Honestly, not that much. But also it was my first time ever covering a song.
I'm honestly just proud of myself for getting this done and having the confidence to post it.
This was legitimately one of the most fun things I've ever done musically, especially since this came out of a massive period of burnout.
The album art for the cover features Snail Man (infamous creature known for being real) holding a jar of Jelly. You may recognize the face of this Jelly as the one from the strawberry on the album art for Giblin. That is intentional. After all, why else would the poor thing be all mangled? To be made into Jelly of course!!!!!
Oh and also the background was made in audacity. Yes, the audio tool. It's a really cool technique called Data-bending.
This song is only avaiable on Youtube.
